Payments
If a payment is not made by Friday of the week your child attends, you will be charged $5 each day until the payment is made. After two weeks of non payment you will not be able to return until balance is paid in full. This will also affect your enrollment status at Bethany Community School.
Returned checks will be assessed fees payable in cash or money order for:
       1. The full amount of the check, and
       2. A $25.00 service fee the bank charges us.
       3. Any additional fees incurred as a result of your check not clearing
If two checks are returned, you must pay with cash or credit/debit thereafter.

The fee for Childcare is based on attending days in a week, If you are occasionally using  days you are classed as “Drop in”, spaces are not guaranteed and you pay for the day/s you use.  24 hours notice to cancel a drop in day is required or you will be responsible for the full amount. If you require care each week you are classed as “Scheduled” your space is always guaranteed and payments are made by the week  (we do not provide hourly care - see price list). The full fee is due and payable whether the child attends care on the agreed day or not (due to illness including covid-19 or vacation, advance notice for absence, scheduling, closure due to snow/weather). Your payment ensures your "spot" in our program each week. We no longer offer schedule changes the prior Friday - if you wish to dis-enroll we require 2 weeks notice and full payment until end of notice period.

Meals
Bethany Bridges Club provides breakfast, cereal only and an afternoon snack.
BREAKFAST     8:00 – 8:30am
SNACK        3:15 – 3:30pm
You may bring breakfast for your child in the morning. Sometimes we have special snack sign up, it will be posted outside the classroom, and if your child is having a Birthday you are welcome to bring a special snack for the class, please no nuts. Parent's with children that have food allergies will need to supply all of their own breakfast or snack foods as well as provide an emergency plan from physician and 2 epi pens, benadryl etc.

Illness
If your child is contagiously sick, you will not bring the child into the center. When your child is no longer contagious and is healthy enough to actively play with other children he or she may come back to the center. Any illness may require a Doctor’s note stating the child can return to school. This helps protects the health and well-being of all the children at the center, and enables us to provide the best possible environment for all the children.

See Illness Policy

Clothing and Supplies
Children’s belongings must have their name written on them. We cannot be responsible for lost items. Please send your children in appropriate clothing for the weather and playing in. We get messy. Parents are responsible for diapers, wipes, a cup for snack time and special-needs food.

Pick-Up Procedures
Parents will pick their child/children up from the classroom and will walk their child to the car.  No child will be released to a honking horn or a minor. Only designated persons will be allowed to pick up the child/ren. Court documents must be on file for a biological parent to "NOT" be able to pick up.

School Closings
There may be other times during the year when we are forced to close, this is uncommon and parents will be notified immediately. Scheduled weekly childcare charges will remain the same when we close for covid-19, emergencies, snow/weather.

Discipline Procedures
All children will be placed in our care on a two-week trial basis. This allows both parties to get acquainted with each other and see of any personality conflicts or disciplinary problems may arise, we want our program to be a good fit with you and your child. During this time, both parties have the opportunity to terminate the agreement without notice and seek alternative childcare arrangements that may be better suited to both parties.

In case of disciplinary measures, re-direction is used first, and if necessary, the time-out method is used. Time out is removing the child from the situation and placing him/her by him/herself for a period of one minute for each year of the child.

If a child has a disciplinary problem, we will discuss a plan so we can take a course of action together.

Termination of Care
Bethany Bridges reserves the right to terminate care at any time for any sufficient reason, including but not limited to: late payment, misbehavior or unruliness of child. When parents wish to withdraw from our program for any reason (past the two week trial basis) they are required to give a two-week notice. Payment will be required until end of notice period.
